The medium is still up in the air
We haven’t reached the question of skill
The issue at hand is fundamental
Causing a commotion inside of me
It baffles me every single day
The answer’s there, but it teases me
I’ve tried to learn from the masters
But I want to make something new

I’d know just what to do
...this was, ironically enough, born out of my struggle with something not unlike a "creative slump," but more like a sort of crisis. I know almost nobody would know or care, but this is the first time I've done something in a long time; hopefully this will still sound as good to me later as when I first posted this, rather than come off as cheesy like some of my other stuff...
